Gretchen Bender is a proven sales and business leader with 25+ years of merchant acquiring and payments experience. As SVP, Strategic Partnerships & Embedded Payments, she is responsible for MAPP’s business development efforts focusing on payments monetization and transaction advisory services.
Previously, Gretchen served as SVP, PayFac & ISO Partnerships in the US and SMB Integrated Payments in the UK and Europe for Worldpay from FIS. Her experience in payments also includes roles at Global Payments, where she led Direct Sales and Financial Institutions and served as President of Comerica Bank’s Merchant Services division.
Gretchen holds an MBA from the University of California Irvine and earned a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. Originally from the Midwest, she currently resides in Las Vegas.
