Kathleen Pierce-Gilmore (also known as KPG) is a Senior Vice President and Global Head of Issuing Solutions in Visa’s Value-Added Services organization. In this role, she and her team serve Visa clients through a suite of issuer services that include processing capabilities, loyalty programs and accountholder benefits. Their broad range of services help financial institutions make payments for their customers more convenient, reliable, and secure without having to build these respective underlying systems on their own.
Pierce-Gilmore has spent more than 20 years in fintech and financial services in leadership roles at American Express, Capital One and PayPal, as well as Raise and Silicon Valley Bank. She has held roles spanning strategy, operations, product, and general management and has sat on numerous boards, primarily with companies innovating in financial services and with the aim of financially empowering the underserved.
Pierce-Gilmore graduated from the Integrated Sciences Program at Northwestern University and has also completed the Non-Executive Director Diploma program through the Financial Times.
